Lakeview Lutheran Church - How We Worship
Worship Times
- Saturday at 5pm in the Sanctuary (on the 2nd Sunday of the month, we worship in the Historic Chapel)
- Sunday at 9am in the Sanctuary
- The Sanctuary is located in the upper floor of the large building on Northport and can be accessed via the glass doors behind the building or the doors facing Northport.
Sunday Worship is Livestreamed
The Sunday 9am worship service is live-streamed on Lakeview's YouTube channel. A recording of each service is also available for viewing on our YouTube channel.
What to Expect at Worship
Worship
Worship at Lakeview centers on the promises of Jesus and God's work in and through us. We pray. We give thanks. We are fed by God. Some worshipers are wearing their best suits and others are wearing their casual clothes that they're most comfortable in.
Communion
You are invited to celebrate Holy Communion with us. We take part in Holy Communion each week. You don't have to be a member of our Church to commune with us; you don't have to be Lutheran. Christ sets this table for all his followers. We believe that we ALL come to the Lord's table at the invitation of our risen Lord, Jesus, and we therefore receive his body and blood in the elements of communion, the forgiveness of sins, the promise of eternal life, and hope for the living of our daily lives. Grape juice and gluten-free wafers are available.
Children
Children are welcome in our worship and at the Lord's Table.
