Lakeview Lutheran Church Staff

Pastor Darin was ordained in 1992 and has served congregations in Tomahawk, Oshkosh, and West Bend before being called as Pastor of Lakeview Lutheran Church. He served two of these churches alongside his wife, Rev. Joy Mortensen-Wiebe, who is now Bishop of the South-Central Synod of Wisconsin. They have two adult daughters, a son-in-law, and a grandson. He enjoys reading, taking his dog, Coconut for walks, and spending time with his family. He's thrilled to be pastor of Lakeview!

 Lynn Hallie Najem has served as the musical director/pianist at Lakeview since June 2008.  She plays for services, funerals, and weddings.  As the choir director, she is continually amazed by the dedication of the members who add so much to the congregation’s worship with their talents.  She encourages everyone to consider joining us!

In her non-Lakeview time, Lynn teaches piano and voice lessons and accompanies musicians for solo & ensemble and auditions.  She shares a home with three large spoiled cats, who are a constant source of amusement.  

 Dennis is semi-retired and has roots on the northside of Madison.  He was  confirmed at Lakeview in 1968 and returned as a member in 2001.  In 2021, he was elected Facilities Director and continues to serve in this capacity.  He was an instrumental member of the   the Synod Partnership Build Committee in 2024.  He enjoys hanging out in Trempealeau on the Mississippi river listening to music and is a regular at the senior luncheons at Lakeview.

Jeff started as Lakeview Lutheran’s custodian in March 2024. Prior to LLC, he was an Electronic Technician at GE Healthcare and retired after 34 years of service.  He enjoys watching Packers, Badgers, Brewers, and Bucks games and also enjoys sci fi movies.

The rest of his spare time is spent attending outdoor music festivals in the Madison area and tinkering with whatever electronic gadgets he can get his hands on.
