All are welcome (members & non members) to our monthly Senior Lunch & Euchre Tournament.  

Lunch is served at 11am with Euchre Tournament after if you choose to participate.  Sign-up in the Narthex.

The next Senior Lunch is Thurs. Sept. 4th - "Let's Tailgate!".  The church will provide grilled burgers/buns.  Please bring a salad or dessert to share and wear your favorite team's jersey.

 Come one, come all!  Here is your opportunity to aid in the worship of your congregation.  Lakeview’s World Famous Choir is starting rehearsals on Thursday, September 4th at 7:00 in our sanctuary! Researchers have determined that singing in a choir is good for your health. Really, look it up!  Laughter will ensue as the director tells a side-splitting joke each rehearsal. Be there or be square, as they say. Guaranteed to be a highlight of your week!  No previous experience or training needed, just a desire to sing praises.  Join us!

 Join our Rally Day Celebration on Sunday, September 14, as we kick off the new season of ministries and life at Lakeview Lutheran Church! We’ll gather in the grass outside our historic chapel for worship – bring a chair or a blanket.  There will be NO service on Saturday.

Blessing of the Backpacks – All students are encouraged to bring their school backpacks for a blessing.

Toilet Paper Line – Start picking up toilet paper now for the Lakeview Food Pantry -  We’ll form a chain to pass the toilet paper from the chapel all the way down to the Food Pantry.

Donuts! – Fun and fellowship continues with donuts, coffee & water following worship/Toilet Paper Line, a last celebration of summer.  

Adult Forum begins September 21st!!! It will be a 4 week study of our ELCA’s newly adopted Faith and Civic Life: Seeking the Well-being of All. This statement affirms the church’s commitment to engage in civic life with moral clarity and compassion, promoting justice, equity, and the common good in a pluralistic society.

The next Red Cross Blood Drive is on Tuesday, September 30th.  

The Lakeview Book Club meets on the 1st Monday of the month @ 6pm in the Fellowship Room, HOWEVER, due to Labor Day, September's meeting will be Mon. Sept. 8th.  New members are always welcome!

The book for September is "The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store" by James McBride.

  Knots of Love (knitting/crocheting group) meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 1pm in the Library!
