Worship and Music

The heart and soul of all we do at Lakeview Lutheran Church is worship.  We pause each week to gather together as the community of believers, and with gratitude in our hearts, we sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs to God.  We give thanks for the gracious love God generously offers to us.  Sermons are  biblically based with themes for daily living. Worship at Lakeview may be described as “solemn play.”  We are joyful for what we have and celebrate that as we gather.

All worship services include the sacrament of Holy Communion (grape juice and gluten-free wafers available).  We believe that Christ is truly present in the bread and the wine and invite all believers to join us for the meal.

Weekly worship books are designed to make worship comfortable for all who attend.  Large print worship books are available.  Worship is a combination of traditional Lutheran liturgies, more recent liturgies and praise type music.  An adult choir assists the Pastor and the Music Director in leading worship.  Other small groups assist as well.

We welcome children of all ages to worship.

Coffee hour and a time of fellowship is offered each Sunday morning in the Fellowship Room.  Guests are invited to join us.

Lakeview Choir:  The Lakeview Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm in the Sanctuary from September through May.  All are welcome.
